What is ScopeBid?
ScopeBid is an iPhone app for independent service businesses — painters, cleaners, handymen, landscapers, detailers and small contractors. It builds estimates from your saved pricing, shows gross profit, margin and markup before you send, and turns approved quotes into invoices with change orders and recorded payments.
Does ScopeBid work offline?
Yes. Quoting, pricing, PDFs, invoices, change orders, payment records and job history all live on your iPhone and work with no signal. You only need a connection to send the PDF, and the App Store for purchases.
Do I need an account?
No. There is no sign-up and no cloud copy of your business data. Because data is stored on your device, export a backup from Settings to keep a copy if you change or lose your phone.
What is free and what is Pro?
Your first 3 quotes are free with full PDFs. Everything you create stays viewable and exportable forever, subscribed or not. ScopeBid Pro unlocks unlimited quoting plus the full Business Memory, job costing and invoicing workflow. Current local prices are shown in the app before you confirm.
Does ScopeBid process card payments?
No. ScopeBid records payments you received elsewhere — cash, cheque, e-transfer, bank transfer or a card terminal — and tracks the remaining balance. It never moves money.
Is ScopeBid accounting or tax software?
No. It is an estimating and invoicing tool. You set your own tax labels and rates, and you remain responsible for bookkeeping and tax compliance.
